St. Patrick’s Day – Times Square 2012
Constantly moving and reconfiguring themselves to sway our attention, the extraordinary pieces of reflective light, emanating from the towering glass buildings, fall into New York’s Times Square and turn the ever changing kaleidoscope into hotspots of brilliance and a backdrop of darkness. On St. Patrtick’s day each mirrored ray highlights a character, some in costume and others being just who they are. Like Bourbon Street at Mardi gras the Square fills with drunken loudness and brilliant colors that are often offensive yet endlessly visual.
