FIGHTING BACK recording the sound track 2012
On Sunday March 18 four of the worlds leading jazz artists entered Euphoria recording studios in New York City to lay down the music for the upcoming short film “Fighting Back” by FCDA photographer Anthony Suau.
The film shot in and around inner-city Cleveland over the period of two years focuses on a small boxing gym located in the heart of a neighborhood devastated by unemployment and the recent housing crisis.
Composer and bassist Curtis Lundy brings together one of the finest teams of musicians working today to score the original sound track including Victor Lewis on drums, Frank Lacy on trombone and Josh Evans on trumpet.
“Fighting Back” will be present exclusively on Facing Change in April of 2012.

These spectacular musicians dedicated their valuable time to the project for one reason: they believe in the mission. Our thanks to them all. Much love.
